Central Valley: Speaking the Language
From the Fresno area: KQEQ-AM 1210 has flipped to Hmong programming, as of late last week. The Hmong community represents one of the largest ethnic groups in the Central Valley, and the one least represented by media in the area. KQEQ transmits from Fowler, with only 350 watts of power. Previously, it had simulcast Spanish programming with several low-power FM's in the Fresno/Visalia area.
